Easy Ways To Get In More Exercise

Exercise is one way that I re-connect with myself and practice Radical Self-Expression. Yoga, core work, cardio, and toning–I enjoy all of it…in little bitty spurts. That’s what I need. That’s how I flow. That’s a huge part of how I stay comfortable in my body and healthy in my habits. This video is my way of sharing the link between Radical Self-Expression and my most days (not daily) fitness routine. I hope it serves you.

The Action Steps for Self-Care & Self-Love

Radical Self-Expression work is environmental work.

All of us, as sentient beings,
understand ourselves within the context
of the environments we live in.

Who we talk to each day,
What we do with our waking hours
What thoughts and ideas are introduced into our brains most often…

All of those things are what influence our choices,
our actions, our view of ourselves and the world.

Radical Self-Expression work is environmental work because environment dictates outcome.

Join the 20-Day Spiritual Self-care Challenge

If you join us, you’ll have a chance to share your spiritual goal and explore some options for what activities you want to use (because I’ll be giving you several examples) to help you explore your own spirituality and create some practices to support your spiritual growth.

Each day for the 20 days, I’ll post a video or an audio lecture inside my Simple Spirituality course, which is already live and poppin’ on Udemy. The course is already filled with activities and prompts for simple ways to explore your spirituality. You can pick from over 30 lectures of options, and you can also bring your own spiritual practices to the table as options for you. It’s all about whatever God has placed within you to explore, express, or reclaim.

Self-Care Activities To Help You Own Your Spirituality

We’ve got to decide that our spirituality, our connection to God-Self, is worth working on in proactive, intentional, consistent ways. I wrote a book about what that practice looks like for me, and I’m publishing it this Spring. But before I release the book, I wanted to offer the information in ways that allowed for guided exploration and plenty of space for your own intuition. If you crave spiritual confidence, and want some ideas for expanding your current arsenal of spiritual strengtheners, you’ll find the rituals and ideas in this course incredibly useful.

Kendrick Lamar, Sa-Roc, and Messages in the Music

The issue as I see it, is not the artist’s choice of self-expression, it’s our tendency to rely on someone else to tell us what’s hot and what’s not. Listen with your whole self, and by all means, get down to whatever feels good. But if you’re like me and you crave deep and dope, artistry in music, and lyrics from people you’d actually want to have a conversation with, don’t look to the radio, search for yourself, and share with the world.
