Grace Hightower De Niro & Coffees of Rwanda

The video below is a prime example of what it means to risk expression.  A woman learned about a thing, saw an opportunity to use her voice to make a difference, and she used her resources to take the thing from idea to implemented vision.  This warms my heart, and I choose to give it space on my blog in hopes that it jars your memory, and takes you back into commitment mode with that one thing you want to make happen.

Here’s the official word:

Inspired by the spirit of the Rwandan people, Grace Hightower (who happens to be the wife of Robert De Niro) has created these coffees as a way to celebrate and support the coffee farmers of Rwanda. Through direct sourcing, fair trade, ethical practices and environmental stewardship, her dedication to the coffee farmers of Rwanda will allow them to create a sustainable business that can be passed from one generation to the next.

Grace Hightower & Coffees of Rwanda have been featured on The View, FORTUNE, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Worth Magazine and more. The coffee is available in 4 blends, and is available at specialty stores including Whole Foods and on her site
