I’ve got to start with gratitude.

Gratitude to MYSELF (yup!) for staying the course these 31 days…
Gratitude to CREATOR for the inspiration to explore this radial work…
Gratitude to BEAUTIFUL YOU for being here and lending your thoughts and voice to the work.

I’ll leave you with what I feel is one of the most radically expressive statements of someone’s truth that I’ve ever experienced. As you read this excerpt, taken from James Baldwin’s 1962 novel, The Fire Next Time. I encourage you to consider your own truths, and commit to deeper exploration and outward expression of whatever you find when you dig in.

“Perhaps the whole root of our trouble, the human trouble, is that we will sacrifice all the beauty of our lives, will imprison ourselves in totems, taboos, crosses, blood sacrifices, steeples, mosques, races, armies, flags, nations, in order to deny the fact of death, which is the only fact we have. It seems to me that one ought to rejoice in the fact of death—out to decide, indeed, to earn one’s death by confronting with passion the conundrum of life.
One is responsible to life: It is the small beacon in that which we shall return. One must negotiate this passage as nobly as possible, for the sake of those who are coming after us.” -James Baldwin (who I think would totally identify with the term Radical Self-Expression)
